JEBEL ALI SERVICE REINSTATE

Dear Valued Customer,  

 

We greatly appreciate our partnership and your choice for selecting our maritime services by nominating us for the transportation of your cargo. 

We are continuously working on delivering the highest level of service quality for you. 

Hereby we offer you new multimodal Sea – Land bonded solution for Jebel Ali cargoes on both inbound and outbound directions via Jeddah Islamic Port, connecting with our regular IXS Service. 

 

The option is applicable for cargo originated/destined within SILMAR SHIPPING coverage.  

Bookings are accepted via any office: 

  • Applicable for Dry, non-HAZ and in-Gauge cargoes. 
  • Estimated inland transit time 4-5 days. 
  • Both COC and SOC containers are accepted. 
  • Sufficient truck capacity is secured for both directions between Jeddah and Jebel Ali
  • Covered with SILMAR SHIPPING multimodal BL 
  • Merchant Haulage between Jeddah and Jebel Ali is acceptable 

Additionally, we are working on multimodal solution via Port of Sohar. Will keep you informed on development.

This multimodal service is offered subject to the Carrier’s applicable Bill of Lading terms and Tariff. Inland transit and cross-border movement remain subject to customs, permit, security and other regulatory requirements in the relevant jurisdictions. Estimated transit times are indicative only and may vary depending on documentation, inspections, border procedures, congestion and operational conditions. Any duties, taxes, customs-related charges, inspections, permits, storage, detention/demurrage and other costs arising in connection with the Goods or their transit shall be for the Merchant’s account, except where caused solely by the Carrier’s proven breach. The Merchant is responsible for providing complete and accurate cargo and customs documents and information
