M/V EUPHORIA SERVICE UPDATE 2

Dear Valued Customer,

Silmar Shipping FZCO wishes to provide a further update regarding cargo currently carried on board M/V EUPHORIA.

Cargo on board remains affected by the continuing regional security situation and related operational constraints impacting vessel movements, route planning, discharge options and onward carriage arrangements.

Silmar Shipping FZCO is actively working with vessel interests, ports, customs, insurers, authorities and other relevant stakeholders to assess available solutions.

The Carrier notes recent media reporting regarding a ceasefire and the reported indications of limited transit opportunities in the region. These developments are being closely monitored and continuously assessed. In that context, the Carrier is presently reviewing all operationally and legally available options, including, where feasible, the possibility of onward voyage through the Strait of Hormuz under appropriate instructions and/or discharge at a safe port in the UAE. Any such option remains strictly subject to ongoing assessment of the objective circumstances affecting the intended voyage, including safety, port access, authority requirements, insurance position, the position of vessel interests, and operational feasibility.

At present, no final arrangement has been confirmed for implementation. Accordingly, pending further assessment and any required confirmations, permissions or approvals, the cargo presently loaded on board M/V EUPHORIA is expected, for the time being, to remain on board. This position remains under continuous review and may change at any time depending on developments

The Carrier wishes to make clear that the present situation arises from exceptional circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Any contingency arrangements, including without limitation delay, change of route, continued retention on board, discharge at an alternative location, storage ashore or afloat, transshipment, onward carriage, security measures and any associated costs or expenses, shall remain subject solely to the applicable contract of carriage, bill of lading terms, online terms and all other governing terms and conditions. All rights, remedies, defenses, liberties and protections available to the Carrier are expressly reserved.

Further updates will be issued if and when there is a material development.
